A J Mount Joinery is, as the name suggests, a joinery manufacturer. However we don't just churn out mass-produced and standard products, or import cheaper items from some far-off third world country. No, every item we produce is hand-crafted to the highest standard, and we take great pride in our work.

In the last five years we have had only one complaint - a customer felt that the staircase we had supplied and fitted was out of keeping with the property, because it was too perfect!! We recommended a local specialist, who was able to give her staircase the aged look she wanted. It's now her absolute pride and joy.

As well as the more common items of joinery, such as windows & doors, we have also made some pretty diverse items, including a bar for a local Italian restaurant, organ-housing and pews for a local church, and even a coffin made out of a willow-tree from the deceased's own garden.

Despite being a joinery manufacturer, we also have many years experience of general building works and can therefore offer a range of building services e.g. roof-trusses, timber-framing etc.
